Instagram resizer

Fit your photo to the sizes Instagram accepts: portrait 4:5 (1080x1350), square 1:1 (1080x1080), landscape 1.91:1 (1080x566) and story 9:16 (1080x1920). Every format, including iPhone HEIC, is converted in your browser; the product isn't cut off, and a blurred background fills the edges when needed.

How to use it

  1. Choose or drop a photo (HEIC and TIFF included).
  2. The tool suggests portrait, square, landscape or story from the ratio; change it if you like.
  3. Check in the preview that the product is centred.
  4. Download the JPEG and upload it to Instagram.

From photo to post in one step

Vitrin fits your photo to Instagram, writes a caption and hashtags for each platform, and posts or schedules it once you approve.

Frequently asked questions

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser; the file never leaves your device. The JPEG you download is saved straight to your device.

Which file formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), HEIC/HEIF, AVIF, BMP, TIFF and most RAW files with an embedded preview. Formats your browser can't open use separate decoders.

Will my product be cropped?

The tool suggests the closest Instagram format for the photo's ratio and keeps the product centred. If the ratio is very different it adds a blurred background instead of cropping.

Is it free, do I need an account?

Yes, it's free and needs no account. If you want to post the image with a caption and hashtags, you can create a Vitrin account.
